City Arms & Restaurant
Accommodation > Hotels and B&Bs in Wells
The City Arms has a colourful past, taking a big part in the City of Wells rich history. This 17th century building started life as the city jail but now enriches Wells High Street as a true British eating house.
Our head chefs, Lee Gantley and Alex Rugg, and their team offer great pub food that is firmly grounded in gastropub territory, but with a few surprises.
The menu's packed with fresh, local ingredients and dishes for sharing, all available in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere
There are three comfortable, homely rooms at the City Arms, each uniquely designed. All are ensuite, with WiFi, flat screen TVs and in-room coffee and tea-making facilities.
Two rooms are double, and the other is a twin. Included in each are crisp, cotton sheets, duck feather duvets and walk-in showers, all fit for a king!
Each room is £75 a night. To book or enquire, get in contact with us by phone at +0044 (1749) 677768, by email at thecityjailwells@gmail.com
