Dating from the 17th century and set in its own pretty walled garden this former farmhouse is only five minutes walk from the world famous Gothic Cathedral, the 13th century Market Place, the walled and moated Bishop's Palace and the oldest medieval street in Europe. An ideal base for visiting Bath (the local bus stops outside our house) without the parking and accommodation difficulties associated with Britain's second most popular tourist destination, the Old Farmhouse is also within easy distance of Glastonbury, Cheddar and the unique Somerset Levels, either by car or bus.
The Old Farmhouse is the home of retired diplomat Christopher and his "Cordon Bleu" trained wife Felicity and offers a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Accommodation (minimum two nights) comprises one double and one twin bedded room. Both have en suite shower rooms, flat screen television, radio and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. There is also a library and selection of local guide books. The Old Farmhouse is non smoking throughout. Breakfast is multi choice: bread and preserves are home made.
