Visitor Information for

Somerset Landscapes - around Wells

The landscape of the Northern area of Somerset is diverse to say the least. From the Mendip Hills, down to the Levels and eventually to the coast the landscape changes from heathland and dry stone walls to flat grazing land drained by rhynes to long sandy beaches along the Bristol Channel. All these areas are ideal for walking, horse riding, cycling and nature watching.
